Skills you already have, recognised.
CraftGate is a network and placement platform for the heritage trades. Experienced practitioners can work towards NVQs, funded through CITB, that recognise the skills they already have.
CraftGate is not a training provider. It connects practitioners, employers and hosts so the qualification fits the work already being done.
CITB Specialist Upskilling Fund
CITB has named CraftGate Heritage as the delivery partner for its Specialist Upskilling Fund in heritage, including stonemasonry and oak framing. The project runs from 1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027 and covers England, Scotland and Wales.
